Privacy notice
Last updated 13 October 2026
AskMyStartup helps founders build an AI twin from their own words and documents. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: email address and workspace name.
- What you give your twin: interview answers, chats, uploaded documents, meeting transcripts and voice clips.
- Meeting content, only when every participant has been told and nobody objected.
- Your support profile preferences (never a diagnosis), which only you can see.
- Usage and billing records, and an activity log of actions in your workspace.
Why we use it
- To build and run your twin, memory and fact ledger.
- To answer questions on your Ask link using only facts you approved.
- To bill you, keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data and we do not train AI models on it.
Who processes it
Data is stored in Supabase (Mumbai, India). To answer, transcribe or speak, parts of it are sent to our processors, which may be outside India: Anthropic (AI), Voyage AI (search), Sarvam and ElevenLabs (speech and your consented voice), Recall.ai (meetings), E2B (cloud computer), Resend (email) and Razorpay (payments).
Your rights
- Access and export everything (Settings → Your data).
- Correct facts at any time in your ledger.
- Delete your workspace and all its data (Settings → Your data).
- Withdraw consent for voice cloning or meeting recording at any time.
