What we shipped

In plain words, newest first. Only things that are live are listed.

  • The home page is now also in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali and Urdu, with a suggestion to switch based on your browser language and country (we never redirect you). The translations were written by an AI assistant and say so; tell us if something reads wrong.
  • We tested written answers in 15 languages, including the 10 most spoken in the world, and the site now says so instead of focusing on Indian languages. The clone answered correctly from an approved answer in all 15 (one test question each). The message it shows when it does not know is still in English.
  • Analytics now asks first for visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland: without a choice we store nothing on your device and record nothing. A proper favicon and logo set, a Guides link in the menu, and a Guides and free tools section on the home page.
  • An About page: who is behind AskMyStartup, how we work, and where we are today. Two more guides: the founder approval bottleneck, and answering team questions in Hindi, Telugu or Hinglish.
  • The page for Indian teams moved to /for-indian-teams, and we removed every mention of running inside Slack or WhatsApp: AskMyStartup is a web page that opens on any phone.
  • The homepage demo now opens with a worked example answer, so you see what the clone does before you click anything.
  • Answers you approve in the five-minute setup are now shared with your team by default, with a checkbox to keep them private. Before this, teammates could get "I'll check with the founder" for answers made for them.
  • Questions your clone could not answer now show as Team questions in the sidebar and as a banner on Today, so you can answer once and the clone knows it next time.
  • A page for Indian teams, with a live demo in Hinglish.
  • A free calculator for what repeat questions cost you, and an honest comparison of answer bots, each line taken from the product's own site.
  • Four new guides for founders: what to delegate to AI, a WhatsApp bot and a Slack bot for team questions, and an AI chief of staff.

  • Set up in five minutes: paste the answers you keep giving, approve what your clone picked up, then ask it a question.
  • A live demo on the homepage that works without signing in: a made-up founder's clone answers only from approved answers, or says it does not know.
  • A page to book a 15-minute research chat with us, no pitch.
  • A free two-minute founder bottleneck quiz.
  • A new dashboard sidebar with search and a collapsible rail.
  • Join the waitlist with Google or email.
  • More guides, and structured data so search engines and AI assistants can read the site.
